CPT 1250
CPT 1250 is a class im taking that basicaly shows us the basics of a lot of the microsoft office software. Although a lot of the work we do is cake work (microsoft word, and powerpoint), it does have its down side to being complicated due to microsoft office and access. We are about half way done with the class, and so far it has not been too bad. We have done microsoft word and microsoft excel, but we are rounding into microsoft access which is the hardest of the four. Im typing before the first class for access, and im a bit nervous to see how the next few weeks are going to look.

While I was reading this, I was pondering if you are a technology major. This seems like a class that is recommended for someone who is going into a field to work with computers. I used to be pretty good with computers, like four or five years ago, until they started to get more complex and a lot more new stuff to learn; now I know why my parents have trouble with the computer stuff. Would you recommend this class to take just for experience at it or is it just not worth it? I noticed that you said it is a "cake walk" and I wonder if you are just that good at technology that you seem that way or if it would be easy for anyone to take. I am anxious to know what kind of work you do in this class. I took at Word Processing class in high school and all of the work we did was like retyping papers and correcting errors and stuff. Along with that, we learned the basics of using Microsoft Word and its components. Other than taking that class, the only things I really know how to do are the basic essay and the basic powerpoint. I am also curious to as what Microsoft Access is? I suppose that when I get done here and I have some free time I will check it out a little bit. Also, is this computer class helping you out with your writing skills with other classes such as our English Com 1110 class? I think I will check into this class a little more and decide if it is for me or not.
